My story

To meet this Sweet chi mix puppy via video chat, please send a completed application form via www.savesomesouls.com 2.5 years old Paco was found by a Good Samaritan, who looked everywhere for his family, but when no one claimed him, she surrendered him to our rescue. Paco is only 13 lb and very sweet and calm. He loves to get petted and loves being a lapdog. He will really do good being an only pup or have a home with another quiet pup. Paco is extremely loving and wants to be with you all the time. He is truly a velcro lapdog. In a nutshell, Paco is a very sweet, calm, extremely loving little baby, who enjoys hanging out with his foster parents. He is also very obedient, housebroken, and very well-behaved. He doesn't bark like a chi at all. He will do great in a quiet home, Paco is fully vetted, neutered, chipped, heartworm negative and is kept on preventatives. Paco's adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality Harness and Interstate Health Certificate for our out of state adopters. He is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada for the right home. Paco can be an apartment or condo pup. However, yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. If, after meeting a pup, the foster parent or the adoption applicant do not feel they are a good fit for each other, we often offer other pups who are better fit. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued from our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible.
