Location: Dayton, OH Food: Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: Monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Meet Juno! ✨ Juno is a 3 year old exotic bully with a gentle, sweet soul—you can see in her behavior and right in her eyes. Juno is both fun and lazy. She loves short bursts of tug of war or fetch, followed by hours of cuddling with her people (and sometimes her dog friends, too). Her head fits perfectly in your hand, and her soft fur makes her the coziest snuggle buddy. Juno’s biggest love? Toys. She almost always has one in her mouth, proudly parading in circles. While the other dogs wrestle and chase one another, Juno is happiest doing her toy parade—or playing a friendly round of tug-of-war with her humans. She gets along well with other dogs and occasionally joins in on the play, but she’s perfectly content to entertain herself. She’s also a professional toy surgeon, joyfully dismantling toys and expertly removing squeakers. In her eyes, dog beds are just really big toys, so she does best with a durable bed. Before coming into rescue, Juno had never been in a car, left her home property, or spent time with anyone other than her original owners. Understandably, she arrived with a lot of anxiety. But her natural curiosity shines through—she’s excited to explore, even if sometimes her body struggles to keep up and she pants heavily when overstimulated. Since joining rescue, she’s bravely tackled many “firsts”—from car rides, to a parade, meeting new dogs and strangers, swimming, and going on walks—and she’s loved them all. New situations can still be overwhelming, and she may benefit from medication prior to them. Other than these occasional episodes of anxiety brought on by specific triggers, Juno has a steady, even-keeled temperament. Situations that might wind up another dog often don’t faze her. With patience and gentle support, she’s learning that adventures can be both safe and fun. She doesn’t make a peep in her crate and is leash-trained. Potty training is going well, though Juno thrives with structure: supervised time indoors (not free roam), regular trips outside, and positive reinforcement when she goes in the right spot. Early on she had a few accidents on soft things, so for now she does best with limited access to them while she continues to learn. JUNO’S IDEAL HOME: One with plenty of cuddles, leisurely walks, and lots of toys. She loves tug-of-war and a round of fetch—but you only need to throw the toy a few feet, lol. She’s perfect for someone who wants a dog that is playful but has relatively low exercise needs, and who will appreciate a companion happy to lay contently by their side for hours. If you’re looking for a cuddly, playful companion with a heart full of sweetness, Juno may just be your perfect match. 💕 ***ADOPTION PROCESS*** - All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on Veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. - Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!
