Adoption fee applies. ✨ Meet Mia – A Sweet Harlequin Sphynx Looking for Her Forever Home ✨ Mia is a striking Harlequin Sphynx with a gentle, affectionate nature. Her current owner is sadly seeking to rehome her due to a change in family circumstances, and Mia is ready to bring her unique charm into a new home. Mia is very much a people cat. She loves greeting visitors, seeks out attention, and adores being petted and kissed (though she'd prefer not to be carried around). She's happiest when curled up next to you—whether at your desk, keeping you company while you work, or snuggled in bed at night. Call her name (or her nicknames, "Mimi" and "Meems"), and she'll come running, purring all the way. While Mia loves her humans, she prefers to be the only feline in the household. She tends to be grouchy with other cats, though she'll tolerate dogs if they give her space. She hasn't lived with children, but older, respectful kids would likely be fine. Mia has a playful streak too—one of her favorite games is chasing the mouse cursor across a computer screen. She also loves climbing and can often be found perched on top of the fridge or shelves, or lounging in a sunny window watching birds and squirrels. Because she's curious and quick, she's been known to dart toward open doors, so a secure home or even a catio would be wonderful for her. She's moderately vocal—chirping at mealtime or softly meowing to be let into the bedroom—but is otherwise a quiet, content companion. As with many Sphynx, Mia has her quirks and needs: She enjoys Hills Sensitive Stomach & Skin kibble and Primal frozen raw (pork is her favorite). She loves jerky treats but needs them cut small or held for her to chew safely. She can be picky with canned food. She occasionally nibbles on plants and thin charging cords, so a little kitty-proofing will help keep her safe. Mia's ideal home is a calm, loving environment where she can be the star of the show. She'll thrive with people who appreciate her tender heart, affectionate ways, and playful personality. This sweet girl has so much love to give—and she's ready to share it with her forever family. 💕 Mia is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her owner in Richmond. This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
