My story

Orla, also known as Orejas, is Spanish for ears. She has got ears for days; we are pretty sure she gets satellite service with them. Orla is approximately 5-7 months old and weighs 22 lbs. We do believe she is fully grown as she has not grown in the weeks since we have had her. This playful girl was being sold on Craigslist to pretty much, the highest bidder, and no vetting. They finally decided to surrender her into our care, where their story kept changing, but ultimately, we knew she was safe and now she will be vetted and cared for properly. We believe Orla is a schnauzer mix – she does not shed while being given baths or with being brushed, therefore we do believe she could be considered hypoallergenic. Orla is being fostered with another puppy in our rescue, Gaia, as well as being in the home with the foster’s own dogs – she LOVES other dogs and gets along fantastically with them. She would love another dog in the house to play with, but it is not required. The foster does have cats, and Orla has no issues with the cats. She can definitely live happily with cats in the home. There is a young girl in the home and Orla LOVES her too. She would be great with children, and children would be great with her! When it’s time to get serious, Orla becomes very focused on her human, and she will listen. She loves to learn, and when she finds her new home, will thrive with more one on one training. The foster specifically said she has GREAT recall. Orla is house and crate trained. She sleeps in the bed with the foster at night and has no accidents. She is a typical goofy girl and is also learning that being brushed is a good thing. If you’re interested in adopting Orla – You can fill out an application on our website at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org Orla will be spayed, she is current on vaccinations, current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention, current on dewormer, will be microchipped and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Orla, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
