My story

Meet sweet Zeus! He was surrendered to the shelter on 9/3. His former family didn't leave much information, but they did note that he is good with children. The volunteers can tell that Zeus is sad in the loud, overwhelming shelter. He is very sweet, but shy and would love a new, forever home where he can heal his broken heart. He does respond to several commands including sit and stay. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids, please come meet Zeus. Zeus is approximately 3 years old and weighs 70 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Zeus is waiting patiently in run 874; his ID # is 13353. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
