How this pet arrived: Archie was brought in by his previous owner on August 31, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Archie is an energetic boy who's looking for a calm, understanding home. He can be shy around new people, and this sometimes shows up as reactivity. With a little patience and time, Archie will begin to feel more comfortable and show his sweet side. He has a positive history with other dogs, though he may be nervous at first-so slow, careful introductions are important. A calm home without young children will help Archie feel safe, and it's best not to force him into interactions before he's ready. Archie would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help build his confidence. Management tools like blinds, baby gates, leashes, or giving him his own space (room or crate) can also set him up for success and reduce stress. With the right environment and gentle guidance, Archie has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. At SDHS:Archie has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered. Archie is now ready for his new home!Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 25.8 Age: 2yrs 9mths 3wks
