Meet Slowpoke! 🐶💙Slowpoke is a 10-year-old sweetheart with a calm, loving soul and a heart full of devotion. True to his name, he enjoys taking life at a relaxed pace—perfect for slow strolls, cozy naps, and lots of snuggles.He may be a senior, but Slowpoke still has plenty of love to give and is happiest when he’s by your side, soaking up attention and offering gentle companionship in return. His kind eyes and mellow nature make him an instant favorite with everyone he meets.Come visit Slowpoke at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center—he’s ready to spend his golden years in a warm, loving home!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
