Ruby

My story

Ruby is a 8 month old German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois mix. She was found as a stray at 12 weeks old and was placed in boarding for a few months until a foster home opened up. In the mean time she was spayed and vetted. She has been in a foster home for 2 months and is ready to find her forever home. Ruby is timid when you first meet her but once she settles in her new environment her wonderful personality will start to show. She is food motivated and is extremely trainable. She knows sit, down, and paw. She is potty trained. Her foster mom has leaned her bathroom behavior and knows when she needs to go. She dose well on a leash especially whens she's with another dog because she still lacks confidence. She takes a walk every morning. She also rides well in the car. Ruby is kennel trained but she prefers to sleep with her humans and dog friends. Her foster mom works from home so she is only left alone a couples of hours if she has to run errands. She would do best with a family that works from home, a stay at home mom or hybrid as she enjoys having company and not being alone. She is in a foster home with 5 other dogs ranging from 10 pounds to 90 pounds. She is a bit fearful when meeting other dogs because of her lack of confidence but once she settles in she's very playful! She would do better in a home/ condo setting rather than an apartment. Ruby is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
