My story

Meet Mayble – a gentle, shy soul looking for a quiet home where she can truly shine. This sweet older girl has faced her share of challenges, including anxiety, and she’s searching for a patient family who understands the care and consistency she needs to feel safe.Because of her anxiety, Mayble does require sedation for vet visits, so her future family should be prepared for a little extra medical care and cost along the way. She would do best in a calm environment, possibly with older children who are respectful and comfortable reading dog body language. Mayble has not lived with cats or dogs before, so any introductions would need to be slow and thoughtful.What Mayble lacks in confidence, she makes up for in heart. Once she feels secure, she shows her sweet, gentle nature and enjoys the simple things in life—quiet companionship, soft beds, and the comfort of knowing she’s loved. She’s the kind of dog who reminds you to slow down and appreciate the little moments.With time, patience, and love, Mayble will blossom into a wonderful companion. She’s simply waiting for that soft place to land where she can relax and be cherished.
