My story

Brief Bio:Shadow is a beautiful brown tabby with white female. She and her 3 sisters were quite nervous when they first came in. They are currently in home foster care together to continue working on their social skills, boosting their confidence and trust, and learning that it’s ok to just play and be an older kitten!Summary of Personality: Shadow is the friendliest and most trusting of the four sisters. She is shy and cautious around new people and situations but is now leaning into the petting and gives the sweetest purrs. You can pick her up, but it’s not her favorite thing….yet. She prefers to lounge on the highest perch so she’s eye level when foster mom comes in so she’s first to get attention. She will likely be hand shy and timid at first, but if you’re willing to meet her where she’s at and give her some quiet time to adjust, she will come around quickly.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Shadow has been fostered with her 3 sisters and loves to hang out with them. She’s also observed 2 other smaller kittens in the room and 2 adult resident kittens, but has not interacted directly with them. She seems relaxed around them. She has not been around dogs or younger children. It would be great if Shadow was adopted with one of her shyer sisters. She’d have a familiar face and could provide additional support and confidence to her sibling.Include any observations: She’s using the litter box with pellet litter currently.
