My story

Are you ready to hit the road with HIGHWAY? Highway is a slightly fluffy, black and white male kitten with a cute black heart on his chest. He loves to wrestle, chase toys, and pounce on anything that moves — especially his favorite pink jingle ball. Highway also enjoys being held and will happily curl up in your lap when he’s ready to rest. Highway was found alone in the middle of a busy highway and was introduced to a mama cat and her litter of kittens around his age in his foster home. After a few days to settle in and feel comfortable, the whole group welcomed Highway like one of their own. Highway was quick to adjust and was purring and playing almost right away. Highway is a sweet, playful kitten who’s ready to bring joy, purrs, and a little adventure to his forever home.  HIGHWAY has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet HIGHWAY in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at Petsmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet.  The $175 (320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
