My story

Gemma is a mellow, easygoing girl with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. One of 11 dogs recently rescued through our cruelty department, she’s now ready to find her perfect match—and a place to truly call home.She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, Gemma’s affectionate side shines. She adores sitting right beside you, soaking up all the love and attention you’re willing to give—especially if it comes in the form of butt scratches (her favorite!). Social and sweet, she enjoys being around people and already knows how to “sit” like a pro. She’s not a high-energy pup—just a calm, steady companion who’s happiest relaxing by your side.Because she’s a larger dog and can be startled by fast movements or loud noises, Gemma would do best in a calm home with older children who can understand and respect her need for space.
