Meet Violet! Violet is a 2-year-old hound mix and the proud mama of 11 puppies (3 of whom are still looking for homes!). Now it’s finally her turn to find a forever family who will love her as much as she loves them. Violet is a gentle sweetheart. She’s quiet, housebroken, and happily sleeps through the night in her bed beside yours. She has her own little routine when it’s time to go outside—she likes to scout the yard a bit first before taking care of business! Life hasn’t given Violet many chances to play before, but she’s slowly discovering toys for the first time. Right now she mostly enjoys exploring them on her own, but we’re confident that with time she’ll learn how fun it can be to play with people too. Violet can be a bit timid at first, but she’s full of love and really wants to bond. If you give her the space and patience to come around at her own pace, she’ll reward you with trust and affection. Her foster mother says that once she feels comfortable, she’ll quietly follow you around and sometimes give a little “boop” to your leg when she wants attention—that’s how you know you’ve won her heart. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Violet might be your perfect match! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt! Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2394046##
