My story

Hi, I’m Coco Belle. I am the world champion squeaky-stuffy-toy-destroyer in the small senior dog category. My foster parents say I am a pig disguised as a dog because eating is my favorite activity! Good thing I can walk for miles and play fetch for an hour at a time to keep my girlish figure, which can be difficult at 9 years of age. My next favorite pastime is snuggling with my foster parents. I am the cutest, spunkiest 17 lbs in Atlanta! My biological parents were an Italian Greyhound and a Miniature Pinscher, which makes me an Italian Grey Min Pin. I’m also smart, easy to train, and humble (obviously). I love people, dogs, and cats, and the hustle and bustle of Midtown doesn’t faze me. I am crate trained, house trained, up-to-date on vaccines and flea and heartworm prevention, and ready to find my furever family. If that could be you, please apply to meet me! Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
