My story

Meet lovely SLOAN, a short haired calico female teenager kitten with a gorgeous coat. Her belly and paws are white. Playful, social, and full of energy, Sloan has a spicy and mischievous side when playing with her siblings, but her sweet nature is on full display with humans. She is quick to warm up, and loves to snuggle and be held. Brave and confident, Sloan will adapt to new situations quickly. One of a litter of three, her siblings are FERRIS and CAMERON, named after the teen trio in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings. She was born to a feral cat in the home of her rescuer, who bottle fed her from birth. As a result, she has been well socialized and is happy, affectionate, and sweet, purrs constantly, and seeks out attention and love. She impresses everyone who has met her with her loving nature. Sloan is an absolute joy to be around and is making a beeline for your heart. SLOAN has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Sloan in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at PetSmart. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $175 adoption fee ($320 for a pair) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
