Prince

My story

Prince is a 50 lb young 2 year old boy who just wants a human companion to show him love and give him attention. Prince loves being outdoors but is just as happy playing tug-O-War or snuggled up with you. It doesn’t take long for Prince to warm up to people and he is a meek, kind boy with a calm demeanor.  Prince  is dog friendly and isn’t bothered by noise or chaos.  He is house trained and kennel trained, and will go in his kennel when told to do so.  He thrives on  human interaction. Will sit or lay down and watch you for as long as he can.  Very calm.  He knows commands such as sit, stay, eat, no, lay down, paw, stop.  He has transitioned a few times between the shelter and a short term foster and he still has that spark and happiness about him.  Through transitions he has remained a loving, loyal sweet boy. He is protective of me his foster and rewards me non-stop with love, affection and obedience.  Part of his transition -training has been crating him.  He is calm, poised and comfortable in the crate.  Doesn’t bark or fuss unless he needs to go potty.   I’ve trained him to sit  at the door before walks.  He will sit and wait until I give him the “let’s go” command.  He is extremely intelligent to say the least.   He will make an excellent guard dog and companion.   Application available at https://www.pawsofloverescue.com/adoption-application.  Adoption fee of $295 includes neuter/spay, microchip, heartworm testing, deworming, vaccinations, and other necessary procedures.  Applications without a phone number will not be processed.Applications can be found online at www.pawsofloverescue.com, under the adopt tab.  We require an approved application before a meet and greet is set up.  September 9, 2025, 5:21 pm
