My story

Meet Pepper Miss Pepper is a 4-year-old, long-haired Chihuahua who came to rescue after her beloved owner passed away. At just 7 pounds, this little sweetheart is as tiny as she is lovable. She’s a true velcro dog — happiest when she’s snuggled up in your arms or by your side. While Pepper does fine with other dogs, what she really dreams of is a person who will pamper her and give her all the love and attention she deserves. Pepper loves to go for walks and car rides. If you’re looking for a devoted, pint-sized companion Pepper is your girl. She’s ready to be your loyal sidekick and cuddle buddy forever. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee: $225 for all dogs and puppies.
