Short Stack (aka Tater)

My story

Short Stack is a very sweet and affectionate kitty who loves to be with his humans! Children can carry him around and dress him up because this mild-mannered boy just loves the attention! He came to HART after suffering a head injury as the result of a dog playing too roughly with him. Short Stack has recovered very well after initially being a bit dazed and confused > He needed to relearn a few basic skills- like jumping and playing and getting his sense of smell back. This resilient boy is now your typical 5-month-old "teenager" who is full of love- and mischief! This kitten plays hard and then sleeps hard - usually in a sunny window or with one of the other kitties in his foster home. He definitely likes to be warm and snugly.Short Stack is quite talkative and will let you know when he is trying to find you in the house- you know- when you are hiding in the bathroom- or when he wants his dinner! He lives with two big gentle dogs and several other cats in his foster home and gets along well with all of them. Short Stack enjoys playing with balls in particular- chasing them and or carrying the soft ones around in his mouth. We think he would do well in his forever home with other pets- ensuring that any dogs are older or very mild mannered. Short Stack also really enjoys human companionship so if you work from home or have different family members that come and go at alternating times he will be thrilled.
