My story

Meet Grimm 7 mo old, MN, Belgian Malinois, fawn puppy. All legs and ears at this age!  Extremely sweet and affectionate. Great food drive and highly intelligent, making training easy. Drivey with good toy drive, strong grip. Grimm loves water and is very playful with other dogs, but can be forward. He is fostered with cats and horses. He is not sure what to think of the cats and will sometimes bark at them, so with cats he is still learning to be respectful and know his boundaries. With the horses, he does very well at staying out of their way.  Malinois have energy and require mental stimulation. Grimm is best suited for an active family and we do require adopters to continue training which will help prepare the adopters to “work” their dog and build a lasting, respectful relationship with their dog. Grimm has been started on basic obedience, is crate trained and has been super with potty training.  We are still preparing Grimm for his new home, through training, socialization and improving his weight from the stress he underwent being at the shelter. He will be ready in a few weeks, so it is time to start the approval process  if you are interested! We generally get multiple applications. Adopter that is a good match is given first right of refusal IN THE ORDER THEY ARE APPROVED.  Click Adopt to apply to adopt Grimm. After you submit your application, watch for your Next Steps Email.Using the link in our Bio, you can also see more information on adoption requirements, the approval process, donating and more. We will not respond to generic "interested" or "I want to adopt" messages or emails. We are a volunteer based non profit and do not have the man power to respond to hundreds of generic messages. Ask specific questions via email or messenger. Phone calls will only be scheduled for those serious enough to submit a complete application.  ##2514821##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Grimm, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
