My story

Meet Billie Jean! This little superstar may not “moonwalk,” but she will absolutely dance her way right into your heart. At just 17 pounds and around 3 years old, Billie Jean was found abandoned at a dog park with deep lacerations under her front legs. We can’t be sure what happened, possibly an attack from another dog, but what we do know is that she was left scared, hurt, and alone. Thankfully, she was taken to a local shelter where her wounds were treated, and then she came to us for a second chance at the loving forever home she deserves.Despite all she’s been through, Billie Jean has never lost her spark. Her tail is always wagging, and now that her injuries are healed, her vibrant little personality is shining brighter every day. She loves to cuddle, give kisses, and once she feels safe, her spunky, silly side comes out in full force. She’s curious, affectionate, and just a little goofy - the perfect recipe for a best friend.Billie Jean also does wonderfully with other dogs and adores spending time with her human friends. She can be a touch reserved at first, but she warms up quickly, and once she does, you’ll see just how loving and playful she really is.She’s a tiny gem with a big heart, and after everything she’s survived, she deserves nothing less than to be cherished.
