My story

Meet Buddy!! He came in as a stray on 9/3/25, and we think he’s about 3 years old. Buddy is already neutered, which tells us someone cared for him in the past—and judging by his pleasantly plump physique, they may have also cared for him with one too many snacks! Buddy has that “distinguished gentleman” look about him, like the kind of dog who belongs in a velvet robe, lounging by the fireplace, and thoughtfully considering which treat he’ll enjoy next. Don’t let his round shape fool you, though—he’s a sweet, friendly guy who’s ready to trade his days of wandering for a comfy couch and a family of his own. If you’ve been looking for a loyal companion with both charm and extra squish, Buddy is your guy.
