***Available to go home After 9/17/2025 Estimated Birthday: 6/9/2025 Meet Cookie - A Sweet Girl Looking for Her Second Chance Cookie is a precious 10-week-old short-haired female kitten who despite weighing just 3 pounds and has already experienced more change than any little one should. Ultimately, this sweet baby will grow to about 7 pounds of unbridled joy. Cookie's Journey: This little sweetheart came to us as an owner surrender at Stokes, leaving behind the only home she'd ever known and for the cold and chaotic shelter where life was perilous at best. Despite everything she's been through, Cookie's resilient spirit shines through as she relishes her new life in her foster home: For Cookie, the small things in life matter and bring her so much joy; and she is ready to share that same joy with her future family. Finding Joy Again: Overall, Cookie is the typical playful kitten, throwing herself into playing with cat toys and finding comfort curled up in soft hammocks. Yet, among the moments of classic kitten energy, you can tell she's still processing all the changes in her young life. Amazingly, once she stops playing, she becomes incredibly cuddly potentially seeking out the security and love she missed as a very young kitten. Trusting Again: Cookie has learned to trust and is ready to form the forever bonds of family. Cookie is gentle and accepting of everyone she meets, including people of all ages. There's something so touching about how she welcomes affection from anyone willing to show her kindness that she clearly craves and wishes to reciprocate. Ready for Stability: Cookie is ready to be a terrific feline family member given she’s already house-trained and litter box trained. Now, all she needs is the right home where she can shine as the good and love girl who is ready to find her place in the world with her forever family. Our cat adoption recovery fee is $165 this includes: Spay/Neuter, Microchip, FELV testing, and Vaccines up to the time of adoption.
