My story

    Hi, I’m Cleo Kaine!  I’m an 11-pound Miniature Schnauzer/Havamalt mix with the softest gray coat and big, soulful eyes that I’ve been told can melt just about anyone’s heart. At just 3 years old, I’m petite, sweet, and full of love to give. I grew up in a caring home, but when my family faced tough times, they asked for help. That’s how I found my way here: safe, cared for, and patiently waiting for my forever family. I’m gentle and affectionate, and nothing makes me happier than being close to my humans. Curling up on a warm lap, snuggling for quiet evenings at home, and giving lots of kisses, that’s my idea of pure joy. I’ve lived happily with other dogs my size and even with cats, so I wouldn’t mind sharing my new home with a furry friend. I’m also crate-trained and enjoy exploring a fenced yard. Because of my mix, I don’t shed much, which is great if your family has mild allergies, but I’ll need regular grooming to keep my coat as soft and beautiful as it is now.
