Meet Katniss – Your New Overlord (of Love) Status: Stunning. Vibe: Royal chaos gremlin. Special skills: Demanding cuddles, stealing the spotlight, intense eye contact. Step aside, peasants—Princess Katniss has entered the room (and yes, you will be petting her now). This drop-dead gorgeous black kitty isn't just a cat. She's an experience. A lifestyle. A sass-soaked, purr-powered icon. Katniss loves three things in life: Being held like a baby (yes, like an actual baby—rock her gently, tell her she's pretty) Posing for glamor shots like she’s on the cover of Vogue: Feline Edition Demanding love the instant you make eye contact (and treats!) She’s also deeply obsessed with heart-shaped lollipops. Her catnip banana? Also sacred. She is a one-kitty party and you’re lucky to be invited. She is ultra-social, ultra-playful, and ultra-confident—think if Beyoncé and a Disney villain had a kitten. She greets guests like it’s her full-time job, purrs like a lawnmower, and has absolutely zero fear. Doors? She opens them (figuratively and, if given the chance, literally). She's not just nosy—she needs to know what you're doing and whether it's relevant to her. Katniss likes other cats and is the kind of girl who respects her fellow felines. She will also be polite to respectful dogs. Currently she is best buddies with our sweet boy Zorro and they entertain each other all day long, sleep together and groom each other. Oh, and she’s smart. Like, probably understands taxes smart. You'll swear she's about to open a spreadsheet and help with your budget. But instead, she’ll just sprawl across your laptop and dare you to move her. If you want a passive wallflower cat, Katniss is not your girl.
