My story

Hi, I’m Ginger… and I’m only 6 months old. When I first came to the shelter, I was covered in fleas. My skin hurt all over, and I didn’t understand why everything felt so scary. But I’ve been healing — slowly, gently — and the people here say I’m one of the sweetest little souls they’ve met. I’m soft, quiet, and loving. I walk nicely on a leash, I get along with other dogs, and I really just want someone to cuddle up with. I don’t ask for much — just a safe place, a warm bed, and a heart that has room for me. I’m looking for a foster home, a foster-to-adopt family, or maybe even my forever home if you’re ready. I know I’ve had a rough start, but I have so much love to give… and I promise, if you take a chance on me, I’ll be your best friend forever.
