Riya

My story

Riya’s story is one of strength, resilience, and an unbreakable spirit. This 2-year-old husky has been through more than most dogs ever should. Due to chronic glaucoma, both of Riya’s eyes had to be removed – but that hasn’t dimmed her light one bit. She might not be able to see you, but she feels every ounce of love you give – and gives it right back tenfold. Despite all the hardships life has thrown at her, Riya is still incredibly gentle, well-mannered, and absolutely adores people. She leans into pets (especially belly rubs!), seeks out affection, and gives off the kind of calm, trusting energy that melts your heart. Come meet Riya!
