ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Sophie Age: 6 months old Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: Brown & Black Weight: 10.2kg / 22.5lbs (Still growing!) Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Sophie. My story began on the streets, where my brave mother struggled to survive while caring for me and my siblings. Thankfully, kind rescuers found us and gave us the safety and love we needed. Now, I’m growing up healthy and happy—and I’m ready to find a forever family of my very own!   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been spayed and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet girl, and when you meet me, you’ll quickly fall for both my charm and my good looks. I might be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I have so much love and potential just waiting to shine. Once I feel comfortable and open up, my affectionate side comes out in full, and I’ll shower you with endless sweetness.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I can be a bit shy with strangers at first, so I need some time to feel comfortable—but I promise, the wait is well worth it! Even when I’m unsure, I’ll happily and gently take treats from your hand. With a few days to a week of patience, I’ll begin to trust and soon open up to show my sweet, affectionate side. I’m not a fan of being picked up, so I’ll need a strong bond before I’m comfortable with that. While I don’t have much experience with kids, my gentle nature makes me a good match for dog-savvy children who can respect my space and needs.   With Dogs:  Although I can be shy with people at first, I’m much more confident with my dog friends. I love meeting new dogs and making friends—playtime is one of my favorite parts of the day! Even if another dog is rude or pushy, I handle it gracefully by walking away and avoiding any drama.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, so my reaction is still unknown. I do love to chase birds when I spot them, so I’ll do best in a home without small animals.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’m a young pup with a moderate to high energy level, so I love spending time outside exploring and discovering new things. Once I’ve had the chance to burn off some energy, I’m happy to relax and rest calmly indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still learning how to walk on leash and don’t have much experience yet. Sometimes when I get scared, I lie flat on the ground to feel safe. I do best walking in quieter, less crowded areas, as loud noises and cars can startle me. Because I may try to run if frightened, it’s important to keep me double-leashed with both a harness and collar for my safety. I’m polite around food and don’t guard it from people or dogs. I rarely bark, only doing so when I want something, like a treat. I also know how to rest calmly in my kennel.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. A loving family who understands I’m a shy and timid pup. I will need continued guidance and training so I can learn to become more confident.    SPECIAL NOTES Beneath my shy little shell is a sweet, bubbly personality just waiting to sparkle—and I promise it will steal your heart! I might need a few moments to warm up at first, but once I do, I’ll shower you with love and snuggles.
