My story

Toad is a 2 month old, 5 pound (and GROWING!) Pit Bull Puppy looking for her forever home!Toad might be on the smaller side compared to his brother Frog, but don`t let that fool you! He is an energetic, fun-loving guy! Besides being with his brother, his favorite place to be is in your arms or on your lap (when he`s not bursting with energy!). He`s still learning all the things about how to be a proper dog citizen, but is starting to get the hang of potty training, and will let you know when he wants to go out. He has been very respectful in meeting all kinds of friends, including kids, small dogs, big dogs, and cats. He`s even gotten to observe some chickens! Toad relishes in the attention of his favorite people and is ready to shower you with love!Please keep in mind that puppies require a lot of extra care to establish good habits and prevent behavioral issues later in life; this includes training basic commands like `sit`, `stay`, `come`, and proper potty training. If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served.
