Doreon is an 11-year-old senior with a striking black, grey tabby, and white coat. This gentle gentleman is front paw declawed, but that doesn’t slow down his love for life! He enjoys playful moments, curling up in cozy laps, and long, relaxing brushing sessions. Doreon is a little shy at first and takes some time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he shows off his sweet, affectionate side. He tends to hide around dogs, so he would thrive best in a calm, dog-free home where he can relax and feel safe. If you’re looking for a playful, loving lap companion with a touch of charm and a senior’s wisdom, Doreon might just be your perfect match. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Doreon, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
