My story

Hi, I’m Kash—a big-hearted, playful guy who’s looking for a new start with a family who will love me as much as I’ll love them. I’ve grown up in a home with a young child, and I’ve always been gentle and patient with her. In fact, kids are some of my favorite people! I know “sit,” “down,” and “wait,” and I’m very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. I’m playful, goofy, and love a good game of fetch with my favorite “blue toy.” When I’m not playing, I’m happy to relax, cuddle, or nap in my crate (it’s my safe, cozy place). I’d love a fenced yard or regular trips somewhere I can really stretch my legs and run. Like any young Rottweiler, I’m still learning. I sometimes pull on leash and I bark to announce visitors—but I settle once I know everything’s okay. I can be shy or unsure at first with new people, but once you give me a little love and reassurance, I’ll be your loyal shadow. I do have some special needs: I had a rough vet experience as a puppy and now get anxious during visits. I’ll need a patient, experienced family willing to work with me and keep me feeling safe. I can sometimes guard high-value treats if strangers are nearby, so I do best with a family that’s mindful and willing to continue positive training. At heart, I’m a smart, affectionate boy who loves my people deeply and just wants to belong. My perfect day? A walk in the morning, a good breakfast, playtime in the yard, a nap, more play, dinner, and cuddles to end the night. Simple, happy, and full of love.
