My story

Meet Homerun – our big, goofy, teddy bear of a boy! This 1-year-old, 50 lb hunk may look like the life of the party when he walks into a room, but really, he’s just a softie at heart.  Despite his size, Homerun is a total cuddlebug who loves nothing more than making his people happy (especially if snacks are involved ). Homerun’s story tugs at the heartstrings — he was living on the streets near an auto shop, where the kind people that worked there let him hang out during the day but couldn’t bring him inside at night. With nowhere safe to go, he kept wandering into traffic, searching for love and security. Now safe in foster, Homerun is ready to hit his forever home out of the park! He’s got that “frat boy energy” — silly, social and always ready for fun. Rough-and-tumble dog friends are his jam, and he plays best with pups who match his goofy playstyle. Sweet, affectionate, and full of love — he is the kind of dog who makes every day feel like a win.
