My story

Meet Jackie Jill (JJ), a charming and resilient Chihuahua and Dachshund mix. At an estimated four (4) years old and weighing just under 10 pounds, Jackie Jill is a pint-sized companion with a heart of gold. She's currently making great strides in her new environment, demonstrating a sweet and adaptable nature that would make her a wonderful addition to nearly any home. Jackie Jill has excellent house manners. She is mostly housetrained and consistently uses pee pads indoors while also readily going outside. On walks, she's a polite companion who doesn't pull on her leash, though she might take a moment to pause and take in new sights on unfamiliar routes. She is also crate-trained and comfortably sleeps through the night in her crate. When left alone, she's perfectly content, often spending her time snoozing for up to six hours without a fuss. This little dog is a true social butterfly. She eagerly greets every person she meets, whether it's a new visitor at home or a stranger on the street. Her friendly disposition extends to other canines as well; she gets along famously with dogs of all sizes during her walks. While she has a playful side and might try to chase a squirrel or bird, she's a well-behaved and focused pup who is always on a leash. When the day is done, Jackie Jill loves nothing more than to curl up with her person. She's an affectionate and snuggly dog who will happily nestle close on the sofa, making her the perfect companion for quiet evenings at home. All in all, this fantastic pup is a testament to the resilience of shelter dogs and is ready to shower her new family with endless love and cuddles. Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and bordetella, heartworm negative, spayed and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
