My story

Meet Maru – Our Playful, Curious 4-Month-Old Pup!   Name: Maru Age: 4 months Sex: Female Spayed/Neutered: Not yet Breed: Mixed Color: Black Current Weight: 7.5 kg   Personality   Maru is a sweet, affectionate puppy who loves being around people. She happily approaches not only her favorite humans but also strangers, rubbing up against them and allowing pets. While she can be a little shy at first, a few treats are all it takes to win her heart. Within 3–7 days, she warms up completely and even shows her belly once she feels safe.   She is excellent with children under 13 and enjoys gentle interaction. She can be picked up and handled without issue.   Social Skills   Maru is friendly with other dogs – big or small! She approaches both familiar and new dogs with tail wags and invites them to play. She enjoys playful interactions but also respects other dogs’ boundaries.   On walks, she notices cats with curiosity but follows the handler’s lead when asked to move along. Can be a good friend with the proper guidance!   Energy & Exercise   Maru has a normal energy level. She loves outdoor activities – digging, sniffing, splashing in water, chasing sticks, and exploring nature. After playtime, she settles down nicely indoors.   She enjoys 30-minute walks at minimum. If she doesn’t get enough outdoor time, she might protest by lying down and refusing to move (puppy drama!).   She sometimes pulls on the leash because she loves to sniff and explore, but she will follow when guided and responds to redirection.   Home Habits • Potty Training: Does both indoor pad potty and outdoor potty. • Noise: Rarely barks, mostly whines softly when she wants something. • Food: No resource guarding toward people or dogs. • Kennel: Whines when kenneled. • Car Rides: Needs to be carried into the car and gets carsick.   When arriving at a new home, she may sniff around a lot and hide in corners at first — this is normal. Give her time and patience, and she’ll soon bring you her toy asking to play!   Care & Grooming   Maru tolerates baths well — she may whine at first but quickly settles. She dislikes the hair dryer, so towel-drying is best. Nail trims are not her favorite, but with a firm hold, gentle reassurance, and treats, she allows them.   She loves soft blankets, cool spots to nap, and toys of all kinds — balls, tug ropes, plushies, and especially wooden sticks! Rotate her toys daily to keep playtime exciting.   Ideal Home   Maru is looking for a loving family that can: • Spend time with her in the early days to help her adjust quickly • Take her on daily walks and let her explore safely • Provide patience as she learns car rides and leash manners   With time, love, and consistency, Maru will grow into a loyal, happy companion ready to join you on all of life’s adventures.
