My story

Hi there, I’m Cinderella – but you can call me Ella. 💕 Like the princess I’m named after, I’ve had a bit of a rough start in life. I found myself at the shelter after what we believe was a lifetime of being used as a breeding dog, and then left behind when I was no longer needed. Despite everything, I’m holding on to hope that my fairy tale ending is out there! I’m a tiny little lady (a mini Yorkie!) with a cautious heart. At first, I might seem a little skeptical — I just need time to be sure I’m safe. But once I know I can trust you, I’m ready to share all the love I’ve been saving up. My perfect home will be with someone who is patient and kind, who will let me warm up at my own pace and show me that happily-ever-afters are real. I’m estimated to be about 6-8 years old, which means I have so many good years ahead of me — small breeds like me can live long, healthy lives! I’ve already had my “princess makeover”: I’m spayed, heartworm negative and on prevention, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. 👑✨ Because of my background, I think I’d shine brightest in a quieter home — maybe with an empty nester, a retiree, or just someone who has the time to give me all the patience, love, and snuggles I deserve. Priority will be given to adopters with Yorkie or small-breed experience, since it’s really important to me that my new family understands what I need to thrive. I may have started out as a little “cinder” pup, but with the right family, I know I’ll blossom into the princess I was always meant to be.
