Urgent Foster Needed for Pumpkin - Friendly Outside Cat with Vision Issues Going To Vet 9/15 - Expenses Covered by his Rescuer Caretaker – located in Metairie - Foster, Adopt, Pre-Adopt, or Foster to Adopt Contact: dcmcats@yahoo.com - Pumpkin is a sweet, friendly red-orange Tabby cat who been living under the foundation of 1 of the buildings in a commercial complex across from a fenced in parking lot. His eyes have been a little cloudy, but seem to have gotten worse lately. - His caretaker has a vet appointment for him on Mon. 9/15 and needs a foster so he doesn’t have to go back outside, and will cover all expenses. His right eye is now almost completely covered over and it appears his vision may be limited. It’s possible he may need treatments or surgery on his eyes, and time to heal. - Pumpkin is low key and calm, and is quite mellow. He is actually much too sweet to be an outside cat, so hopefully he can be adopted into a loving home after his eyes heal. He is available to pre-adopt or foster to adopt. - There are other cats at the complex and he gets along with them, although he is not bonded to any, so he is good in a household with other cats. When he comes out to eat, he can be picked up and handled. - He is really a nice cat and very handsome! Pumpkin was neutered years ago, but will receive updated shots and testing, and a wellness check. He gets monthly Advantage flea treatments. Other than his eyes, he appears to be a healthy boy, even though he is an older boy.
