My story

Meet Princess Laia – A Gentle & Loving Great Pyrenees Pup Hello! My name is {Princess Laia and I might just be the sweetest Great Pyrenees girl you’ll ever meet. My story began around July 1st in the heat of summer,  on a country porch where my momma gave birth to me and my seven siblings while the homeowners were away. When the family returned, they found eight newborn pups and an exhausted momma who desperately needed help. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in right away to make sure we were safe. I’m now thriving in a foster home with my sister and 4 other dogs. I love being part of such a happy household! My foster mom adores me and says I’m a very mild-mannered puppy. I enjoy keeping myself busy with toys, but I also love to nap and relax. At about 20 pounds now, I’m expected to grow into a beautiful, fluffy 75–80 pound Pyr girl. I sleep through the night, do well in a crate, and am nearly fully potty trained. Best of all, I’m a wonderful snuggler—I truly love being close to my people. My foster mom says I’m the total package: laidback, happy, smart, and oh-so-soft. I’ll be ready to go to my forever home the weekend of September 27th. I can even transport from Tennessee to a cooler climate in the northeast, where my thick fur coat will be right at home.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is requiring a home with a fenced and secured backyard.  You see us Great Pyrs thrive on being outside a lot.  We love to lay around and smell the fresh air....even the cold air, which is why the Northeast is where I want to go to live forever.  The hot and humid southern climate is hard for us Great Pyrs.  I am currently in Nashville, TN where my rescue is based.  I can transport the weekend of Sept. 27th. To adopt Autumn, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 14, 2025, 9:18 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PUPPY LAIA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
