Meet Pinky, a beautiful Great Pyrenees puppy who already knows how to charm every person she meets. Pinky’s story began on a country porch in Tennessee, where her brave momma gave birth to eight puppies while the family was away on vacation. By the time they returned, momma was exhausted and starving after caring for her babies with nothing to eat or drink. Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, and soon this special family was safe in foster care with all the food, love, and comfort they deserved. Since then, Pinky has been thriving in a foster home where she is surrounded by love. She is a mix of curiosity, playfulness, and sweetness—smart, outgoing, and full of that mischievous puppy sparkle. Pinky adores the children in her foster family, happily joining in playtime and curling up for snuggles when the games are done. She also has a nurturing adult dog “big sister” who has shown her the ropes, and Pinky has blossomed under her guidance. True to her Great Pyrenees roots, Pinky will grow into a stunning girl weighing around 75–80 pounds. She will need a home with a secure, fenced yard where she can safely explore, lounge outdoors for hours, and watch the world go by. Cold weather will be her best friend, which is why we’re looking for her forever family in the Northeast, where she’ll feel right at home year-round. Pinky is crate-trained, sleeps through the night, and is gentle and kind—though she can be a little sneaky when it comes to swiping a snack from a toddler’s hand. She’s simply a fun-loving pup with a big heart who is ready to grow into a loyal, cherished family member. Pinky will be ready to travel to her forever home the weekend of September 26th. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this sweet girl, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.
