Janggun

My story

My name is Janggun, and I’m around 3 years old and weigh about 15kg (33 lbs)—the perfect size for cuddles! I’m a sweet boy with a gentle soul, and while I might be a little shy when we first meet, I warm up quickly once I know you’re kind. I love being around people and really enjoy affection. Pick me up if you’d like—I don’t mind at all! I'm a big foodie and not picky at all. Veggies, fruits, meats—I love them all! Mealtime is one of my favorite parts of the day. I also enjoy walks and being active. Exploring the world with you sounds like a dream! When it comes to potty habits, I’m pretty flexible—I can go both indoors and outdoors. I do have a little habit of marking when I’m in a new place, just for about a week or two while I settle in. But don’t worry! Once I feel at home, I only use the potty pad, just like I do now in my foster home in Korea. A couple of things to keep in mind: I sometimes need a little time when I’m in my kennel—please let me come out when I’m ready. I also have my quiet, thoughtful moments where I might just sit and observe the world. And if I get startled, I might let out a short bark. If a small child is nearby at my eye level, I might react out of surprise, so a calm, patient environment would be best for me. But most of all—I'm full of love. I enjoy bonding with people, and once I trust you, my bright and loving personality will shine. I’m ready to share a life filled with affection, play, and quiet moments by your side.
