My story

Hi, I’m Brie—a gentle and curious young girl with a fluffy coat and an even softer heart. I was born in the hills near a redevelopment area in Gimpo, Korea. My mother, who had been abandoned, gave birth to me and my three siblings all alone in the mountains. We were eventually taken to a city shelter, where we faced an uncertain future. While my siblings were lucky enough to find adoptive homes quickly, I was left without any inquiries… and my name was placed on the euthanasia list. I was scared and trembling in the shelter, overwhelmed by the strange smells and noises. But I was rescued just in time—and now, I’ve been given a second chance at life. When I was first rescued, I was underweight and frail despite my fluffy appearance. But thanks to loving care, I’ve started gaining weight and building back my strength and confidence. I’m a friendly, intelligent, and affectionate pup. I get along well with other dogs, and I love meeting people too! I may be young, but I’m already showing how quick I am to learn. On my very first day in my foster home in Korea, I used the potty pad without being told—though I’ll still need a bit of guidance when adjusting to a new environment. My personality is full of charm: I’m playful, curious, and oh-so-sweet. I might have had a rough start, but I haven’t lost my spark. I’m growing braver every day, and my goofy, lovable side is starting to shine through more and more. All I’m missing now is a family of my own—someone to love me, guide me, and help me continue this beautiful journey.
