Hi, my name is Kitsy! It was given to me by the amazing woman who found me! For a long time, I was a stray outside. I was scared, hungry, and very untrusting. Luckily, a sweet woman noticed me hanging out on the side of the road and started feeding me! I was still very nervous around people, so I would run off every time she was near, or when others would try and catch me. I started to come around after a couple of weeks of feeding, and I started just waiting for her to get there. She would set my food out and just hang out with me while I ate. She even started to pet my head, which I was nervous about at first, but now that's all I ever want! She told me about PAWS and how I would be safe there, but I was just so nervous about leaving my plot of grass, which is all I've ever known, for a while now. I started seeing another woman show up every day to feed me, and she said she was from PAWS! The first time I saw her, I ran away, but after a few days, I started waiting for her to arrive. She told me that it's okay to be nervous, but she promised that she wouldn't hurt me, and she was going to keep me safe. The next day, when she came, I had made up my mind and decided that it was time to trust her to take me to the shelter. When I arrived at the shelter, I was welcomed with so much love from not only the staff, but the fellow animals as well. Everyone told me how brave I was, and that now I don't need to worry about defending myself anymore; I am finally safe, and couldn't be happier! The people at PAWS have shown me so much love, but now I am ready to find my forever family. A little about me is that I absolutely LOVE attention, and will love on you all day long if given the chance! I also do really well with other cats, especially kittens! I really enjoy sunbathing in the window and out in the catio, so a home with lots of sunshine coming through would be PURRFECT for me! I'm not a super active cat; I would much rather just lie around all day and get love and attention rather than play with toys. I really hope I can find my forever family soon, as I've always wanted a family that I could watch sunsets with. Could that be you?
