My story

LOCATED IN PUEBLO ***Staff thinks I will be ready by Late September/ Early October. My foster family says Meet Yeller, the tiniest of his litter but full of charm and personality! This little tabby may be small, but he makes up for it with his playful, outgoing nature. Yeller loves scritches and pets and is always ready to chase toys or wrestle with his siblings. He’ll happily trot along under your feet to be part of the action, yet he’s independent enough to entertain himself when needed. Friendly and easygoing, Yeller is the kind of kitten who gets along with everyone. After a lively play session, he’ll happily curl up for a cozy cuddle, making him the perfect mix of playful energy and sweet affection. You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-473-1741; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed on an animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. We want to be healthy for our new life together!
