My story

Meet River River is a 4–5-year-old pittie mix, weighing in at about 45–50 pounds, and she’s ready to charm her way into someone’s heart. She’s the kind of dog who greets life with a smile, a wiggly body, and the occasional bunny hop when she’s especially excited. People are her absolute favorite thing, and she’ll happily spend her days soaking up affection and staying close to her humans. This sweet girl is both playful and easy to handle. She’s a fetch enthusiast, a dream on the leash, and she thrives when given love, praise, and a little treat as motivation. River has a wonderful mix of energy and manners—silly enough to make you laugh, yet attentive and eager to learn. While River adores people, she would do best as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the love for herself. She’s been waiting for a family to believe in her, someone who will appreciate her goofy charm and loyal heart. River has so much love to give, and she’s just waiting for her chance to share it. Could she be the one you’ve been looking for? Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
