My story

Euclid A17797553 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -He can start off timid and will cautiously explore his surroundings-I offered him a treat and he took it nicely. Played with it for a minute and spit it out. Picked it back up and played some more and spit it out. Lol-He did not want to engage in any play with toys-Inside I offered treats again and this time he took them. He will sit occasionally and takes them decently. Needs a little work.-He loves to be flipped over for belly rubs and gets all wiggly for them-He was happy, energetic and giving lots of kisses once he was comfortable-Walks decent on leash with minimal pulling-I think he’ll be an active, playful boy once he’s settled in a home-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper introsUnknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
