My story

Simoleon A17804040 lb. spayed female, approx 2 years old -She starts off timid-She enjoys pets and loves to flip over for belly rubs-She wouldn’t take treats from me in the beginning but the more comfortable she got the better she did with that. She sits and takes them nicely.-She’s definitely gonna need some time and patience. Quick movements and loud noises definitely make her nervous.-She has no interest in playing with toys at the moment-She walks pretty nice on a leash but doorways are a little scary-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids •Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
