My story

Meet Louie! Louie is a 3-month-old, 15-pound mystery mix who’s ready to wiggle his way into your heart. Tall and lanky, this sweet boy is still filling out, but dinner time is his favorite part of the day—especially if it involves canned puppy food. Louie is a full bundle of puppy energy! He loves to play with toys (especially squeaky ones), chew on bones, and wrestle with his foster siblings—both cats and an English Mastiff. After playtime, he’s happiest curled up in your arms with his head on your shoulder, soaking up all the cuddles he can get. Smart and eager to please, Louie already knows his name and is working on commands like sit and come. He’s still learning potty training, but he’s a quick study. When he gets excited, he does an irresistible little butt wiggle that will make you laugh every time. Louie came into rescue very sick, but now he’s healthy and thriving—just needs to gain 5–10 pounds to reach a healthy weight. Because he’s “all puppy,” Louie will need an adopter committed to training, patience, and plenty of exercise. Puppies grow into the dogs they’re taught to be, so he needs a family ready to guide him into becoming the best companion he can be.
