My story

Meet Ashanti Ashanti is a 9-month-old pitbull mix weighing about 35 lbs. Her young life hasn’t been easy — she spent the last couple of months tied up outside on a chain, living in nothing but dirt and mud. Despite that rough start, her sweet spirit never faded. She craved love, and now that she’s safe in a wonderful foster home, she’s finally getting to experience it.    Ashanti absolutely adores people and has done well around other dogs. She’s still learning about life inside a home — she’s not the biggest fan of her crate just yet, but her foster is helping her work through it. Potty training is going great so far, and she’s showing how smart and eager to learn she really is.   And let’s not forget — she’s our short-legged queen! Those little legs just make her even more adorable and unique.   We’re still getting to know this beautiful girl, and her personality shines a little more each day.
