My story

YOU MUST HAVE AN APPROVED APPLICATION IN ORDER TO MEET OUR PETS. Meet Butterbean! Butterbean is a 4-month-old small-breed mix—likely Shih Tzu, Yorkie, and Chihuahua. He and his two sisters were surrendered by an older woman who was helping their original owner. (His sisters have already been placed with another rescue.) This little guy has a slightly long body and the cutest underbite, which makes him even more irresistible. Butterbean can be shy at first and startles at loud noises, but he warms up quickly. Once he feels safe, he’s a friendly, affectionate companion who loves attention and gets along beautifully with the foster family’s assortment of dogs. Training & Personality - Potty training is going great on a consistent schedule. - Early riser for his morning break, then happily snoozes until it’s time to start the day. - Just learning to walk on a leash. - Playful puppy antics but not a heavy chewer—he loves his toys. Ideal Home - Secure fenced yard. - Another gentle, playful dog to keep him company. - A patient adopter who understands shy puppies and can help him build confidence. We also require a home visit before finalizing any adoptions so preference is given to applicants within a 90 mile range. You will be required to come to High Point, NC to meet/pick up your new pet. The application will open as a PDF and you should have the ability to fill it in from that page. Be sure to complete all fields. 4. Save the application to your computer, then attach in an email and send to petprojectnc@gmail.com 5. Someone will review your application as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours, and will be in touch with next steps.
