My story

Meet Blu, a handsome 8-year-old purebred Blue Heeler with the kindest heart and the most loyal spirit. Weighing 45 pounds and built like an athlete, Blu has been with his family since he was just 6 weeks old. He has grown up surrounded by love, other dogs, and even a toddler sister whom he has been nothing but gentle and sweet toward.  Blu is neutered, fully vaccinated, house-trained, and still has plenty of energy to enjoy life’s adventures. He loves to fetch, run, and play, and he bonds quickly with people and other dogs. At his core, Blu is a devoted companion who thrives on attention and connection.  Because of his energy and need for attention, the growing family who is about to add a third child to the equation, has decided to find Blu a family who can do the outdoorsy things with him that he once was used to before the children arrived.  Blu would do best in a home with a nice yard and someone who loves to throw balls for him to fetch. This boy is also an experienced dog who loves to run with his owner.  He has lived happily in apartments and smaller homes too, but his ideal retirement chapter would be with someone who appreciates his working-dog nature and gives him the time and exercise freedom he craves.  At night, Blu loves nothing more than curling up at the foot of the bed, reminding you that his loyalty is unmatched. His owners have loved him dearly and only want the very best for this special boy—a family who can give him the attention, exercise stimulation in a fenced yard and love he deserves for the rest of his days.  Young children take so much of a parents' time and Blu has been patient but we know there is a good retirement family out there for him.  If you’re looking for a kind, gentle, and endlessly loyal best friend, please consider opening your heart to Blu.
