Derf

My story

Derf is a charming medium-haired brown and white tabby with a gentle, goofy spirit. At about a year old, he has a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), also known as “wobbly cat syndrome.” Don’t let that fool you—Derf gets around just fine! He can even climb cat trees when he’s feeling adventurous. Most of the time, though, he’s happiest tucked away in a cozy hidey-hole, snoozing or quietly watching the world go by. Derf is incredibly food motivated and loves when his humans give him booty skritches (you’ll get an enthusiastic elevator butt in return!). He also has the cutest “sploot and flop” move when he’s basking in affection. Derf gets along well with other cats and only needs a large litter box with a low entry and high back to make things comfortable. Beyond that, he’s as easygoing as they come—a sweet, special boy ready to melt your heart. Adoption Information Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home. Adoption Fees Kittens (under 6 months): $150 Adults (over 6 months): $125 Seniors / Special Needs: $75 Please Note: We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you’re ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying. Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy.
