My story

Reader: Your Goofy, Ball-Chasing, Snack-Loving Best Friend Awaits! - Available for Foster or Adoption in Georgia. Can travel for the right adopter! I don’t know how I got my name because I can’t read, but I can hop like Tigger. So… who wants to be my Pooh Bear? I’m a 1 to 2-year-old chocolate Lab mix, around 50 pounds of joy, sweetness, and zoomies. Somewhere along the way, I got lost or left behind, and I ended up at the shelter in California. No one came looking for me. The place was overcrowded, and I landed on the dreaded list. But then, just as things were about to take a turn for the worse, someone walked in and chose me. Just like that, I got my second chance. Now I’m neutered, up to date on all my shots, and heartworm negative. Most importantly, I’m ready. Ready to love, to play, to live a big happy life with someone who wants a warm, goofy, loyal companion. Is that you? I adore people. If you sit down, I’ll come over and nudge you for pets, flopping onto my side with my tongue hanging out in bliss. I’ll move from person to person asking for love, because let’s be honest, I deserve it. I get along well with other dogs too. I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’d have to take that slow. But when it comes to kids? I’m your guy. I’m gentle and sweet, and I’ve learned that little humans tend to drop snacks, so basically, I’m their biggest fan. And oh, the ball. I love the ball. I haven’t quite figured out the whole fetch thing, but I’m trying. I’ll chase it with everything I’ve got and give you the happiest tail wags you’ve ever seen. And if you have a kiddie pool? Even better. Splash city, here I come. My eyes are big and brown and full of hope. I’m still young, still learning, still growing, but I know one thing for sure.
